Amara can't hear me, or I can't hear Amara

It's often the distance, the volume or noise in the room. Try these steps:

Amara doesn't respond

• Amara can hear you from several meters away. If it doesn't work, sit closer to the tablet.
• Turn down the TV or radio.
• Speak clearly at a normal volume and start with “Hallo Amara”. Or tap “Talk to Amara” on the home screen.

You can't hear Amara

• Turn the volume dial on the dock.
• Or press the voice button on the dock and say “Louder.”
• Or on the tablet: the gear icon in the top right, then “Device setup” and “Volume”.

Amara talks too fast

On the tablet: the gear icon in the top right, then “Device setup”, and under “Amara's speaking pace”, tap “Slower”.
