Amara can't hear me, or I can't hear Amara

It's often the distance, the volume or noise in the room. Try these steps:

Amara isn't responding

• Amara can hear you from several metres away. If that doesn't work, sit closer to the tablet.
• Turn the TV or radio down.
• Speak at a normal volume and clearly, and start with “Hallo Amara”. Or tap “Talk to Amara” on the home screen.

You can't hear Amara

• Turn the volume dial on the dock.
• Or press the voice button on the dock and say: “Louder.”
• Or on the tablet: the gear at the top right, then “Device setup” and “Volume”.

Amara speaks too fast

On the tablet: the gear at the top right, then “Device setup”, and under “Amara's speaking pace” tap “Slower”.
