How do I make the text bigger and the screen easier to read?
How do I make the text bigger and the screen easier to read?
You can make the text bigger right inside Amara — and if you'd like everything on your phone easier to read, you can change it there too. It only takes a minute, and you can change it back whenever you like.
In Amara
- Open Amara's settings.
- Find the text-size setting.
- Move the slider until the text is comfortable to read.
On an iPhone or iPad (to make all your apps easier to read)
- Open Settings.
- Tap Display & Brightness, then Text Size.
- Drag the slider until the text is comfortable.
For even larger text, go to Settings → Accessibility → Display & Text Size, then turn on Larger Text — and Bold Text, if that helps too.
On an Android phone (to make all your apps easier to read)
- Open Settings.
- Tap Display, then Font size.
- Drag the slider until the text is comfortable.
There's also Display size on the same screen, which makes buttons and icons bigger as well as the text.
Good to know
The setting in Amara changes the text in Amara. The phone settings change the text across your whole phone — so everything gets a little easier to read at once. You can change either one back the same way whenever you like.
