How do I get a refund for Amara?

Your Amara subscription is paid through Apple or Google, depending on your device. Amara doesn't handle refunds itself — you request a refund from whoever you paid.

If you paid through the App Store (iPhone, iPad)

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
  2. Tap "I'd like to", then choose Request a refund.
  3. Choose a reason, then tap Next.
  4. Choose the Amara subscription, then tap Submit.

If you paid through Google Play (Android)

  1. Go to play.google.com, and sign in if you're asked to.
  2. Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Budget & order history.
  3. Next to the Amara purchase, tap Report a problem.
  4. Choose the option that fits, fill in the form noting that you'd like a refund, and tap Submit.

Good to know

  • Whether a refund is granted is up to Apple or Google, under their own rules. Amara can't do this for you.
  • If you simply don't want to keep paying, you may not need a refund at all — just cancel the subscription. It then runs until the end of the period you've paid for.
