How do I get a refund for Amara?
Your Amara subscription is paid through Apple or Google, depending on your device. Amara doesn't handle refunds itself — you request a refund from whoever you paid.
If you paid through the App Store (iPhone, iPad)
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
- Tap "I'd like to", then choose Request a refund.
- Choose a reason, then tap Next.
- Choose the Amara subscription, then tap Submit.
If you paid through Google Play (Android)
- Go to play.google.com, and sign in if you're asked to.
- Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Budget & order history.
- Next to the Amara purchase, tap Report a problem.
- Choose the option that fits, fill in the form noting that you'd like a refund, and tap Submit.
Good to know
- Whether a refund is granted is up to Apple or Google, under their own rules. Amara can't do this for you.
- If you simply don't want to keep paying, you may not need a refund at all — just cancel the subscription. It then runs until the end of the period you've paid for.
