How do I change how fast and how loud Amara speaks?

You can set how fast Mia and Max speak, and how loud — so it sounds just right for you.

While you're talking

Just tell Mia or Max:

• "Speak more slowly, please" or "Speak a bit faster"
• "Speak up, please" or "Speak more quietly"

In the settings

You can also adjust the speaking speed and volume in the settings.

1. Open the settings in the app.
2. Choose the speaking-speed or volume setting.
3. Set it to whatever suits you.

If it's too quiet

First, check the volume on the device itself — the buttons on the side of the phone or tablet — and that it isn't set to silent. That's the most common reason for sound being too low.
