What roles are there in the family?

Every Amara family has three roles: the family admin, the family members and the senior. In the app, “senior” means the person the tablet is for, so your parents or grandparents.

Family admin

• sets up Amara
• invites family members
• creates reminders
• changes settings for the senior
• manages the membership

Family member

• calls and answers calls
• sends photos and messages
• adds appointments

Senior

• talks to Amara
• calls the family by voice
• receives photos and messages

Good to know

• The family admin is the person who orders and pays for Amara.
• There is exactly one family admin per family.
• Only the family admin can create reminders.
• The role can't be transferred in the app. Message us and we'll help.
