How do I manage my family in the Amara Family App?

You manage your family in the Amara Family App. Only the family admin can invite people.

Seeing members

On the home screen of the Amara Family App, the “Members” card at the bottom shows everyone in the family.

Inviting someone

Removing someone

This isn't possible in the app at the moment. Message us and we'll remove the person.

The family admin can withdraw an invitation that hasn't been accepted yet, with “Cancel this invite”.

Handing over the admin role

There is one family admin per family. The role can't be transferred in the app. Message us and we'll help.

Leaving the family yourself

There are two ways:

• Delete your account: in the Amara Family App settings, tap “Account” and then “Delete account”. This deletes all the photos, messages and voice notes you've shared.
• Or message us and we'll take you out of the family. What you've shared isn't deleted.

Important for the family admin

If you delete your account as the family admin, the whole family is deleted.
