Who is Amara for?

Amara is for parents and grandparents who like to talk but don't want much to do with smartphones and tablets. Amara Home is a voice-controlled tablet with its own dock: everything works by voice. Amara Home is usually set up by the family.

Amara is a good fit if

• your parents or grandparents live alone or as a couple and are often on their own during the day
• technology tends to get in the way rather than help
• you'd like to hear from each other more often as a family, even if you live far apart

What you need to be able to do

Talk. No reading, typing or swiping needed.

From what age?

There's no age limit.

What about dementia or care needs?

Amara is not a medical device and not a care service. Whether Amara is right depends on the person. Feel free to message us before you order, and we'll look at it together.

When Amara isn't the right choice

When someone needs looking after or an emergency call service. That's what care services and personal alarms (Hausnotruf) are for. Amara can't replace them.
