What does Amara cost, and what's included?

Amara is a membership. It includes the tablet, the Amara Family App for the whole family and everything Amara can do. On top of that come the one-off shipping fee and, if you don't use Wi-Fi, the internet option for the SIM card.

The prices

• Monthly plan: €34.90 a month, cancel any month
• Annual plan: €24.90 a month, billed monthly, for at least 12 months from the first paid month, then cancel any month
• Shipping: €4.90, once, when you order
• Internet option via the SIM card: €6 a month

• the dock
• a long cable and a short cable
• the power adapter
• a quick-start guide

What's in the membership

• everything Amara can do: talking, voice and video calls, photos and messages, reminders, radio, podcasts and games
• the Amara Family App for as many family members as you like
• all updates
• help from us: in the chat in the Amara Family App and by email at support@amara.app. There's no separate phone support for your parents or grandparents.

No extras

You don't buy the tablet, you rent it with the membership. There are no individual purchases and no hidden costs.

The first 30 days are free

You order on amara.app and add a payment method: card, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay or Google Pay. When you order, you only pay the shipping fee. You pay nothing for the membership in the first month. The 30 free days start when the tablet arrives. The first membership payment is taken on the 31st day after delivery. After that, you're charged every month, on both plans.

If you cancel during the 30 free days, you pay nothing except the one-off shipping fee, on both plans. If you withdraw within 14 days of ordering, you get everything back, including the shipping fee. More in Can I withdraw from my order?

Cancelling

On the monthly plan, you can cancel any month. The annual plan runs for at least 12 months from the first paid month. After that it carries on, and you can cancel any month. How to do it is explained in Can I cancel at any time, and what happens to the tablet?
