Do I need Wi-Fi for Amara?

Not necessarily. The tablet can go online in two ways: through Wi-Fi or through the built-in SIM card. For the SIM card, you add the internet option, which costs €6 a month. So without Wi-Fi, you need the internet option.

Internet via the SIM card

• The SIM card is already in the tablet. With the internet option, it's already active on delivery, so there's nothing to set up.
• 20 GB a month at full speed. After that it carries on more slowly, with no cut-off and no extra costs.
• The tablet uses the Vodafone network and needs Vodafone reception where it's placed.
• You add the internet option when you order. You can also add it later: just message us.

Prefer Wi-Fi?

The Wi-Fi password is usually on a sticker on the router (on German routers it's often labelled “WLAN-Schlüssel”). More on this: How do I connect the tablet to Wi-Fi?
